assuming it just bases the 'perfect cooking time' on just that..time?

Just curious as to how the app knows the temperature of the grill/pan or the actual meat? These would all effect the cooking time no?

Curious as to how it works, always love having a go of a new gadget

My comments are meant to be objective and are in no way a criticism of your product just my honest opinion after trying it.

Gave it a test and the steak turned out very nicely using the twist and turn method. For convenience I used the gas BBQ grated section and had it on full blast. Maybe a comment on BBQ temp could help some people.

Because my family all like our steak the same I didn't try entering different amounts of doneness but did a couple of tests and noticed that if doing a well done and a medium, they both start counting down together. Maybe a feature that starts the well done and then prompts when to put the medium on would help some people so they all finish together.

If I had no idea how to cook a steak I would have been a little lost at the end when the app said, rest. Maybe a guide on how long would help some people.

Great idea and definitely going to help a lot of people who have ruined a lot of steak, good luck with it.
