Very nice. Wonder what temps the 4 probes can read? Eg: grill temp?

Yeah,

Not available yet, it's a 2015 release!
The probes are sealed completely and as I understand will retrofit to the ET732 and 733 they are the new Hybrid Probe.

Cheers

Sent an email to the Marketing VP of Maverick Industries to see if they would let us do a Product Review on Pelletheads.com. Always curious to see if they will even respond!

Looks like they are taking on the Igrill! The Sender talks to your phone by Bluetooth.

Waterproof probes will be good!

Looks like a good option to replace my tired old maverick. Does anyone know the range of the Bluetooth? Wouldn't be much point if it didn't reach from the backyard and well into the house.

Roughly 30m range for Bluetooth normally.

They are due in Feb/March.

Hi there. Keen to purchase dual probe thermometer for weber kettle to allow some low and slow. Do you think it's worth waiting for the 735 or should I bite the bullet and get a 733 now? Any indication on price yet?

Is the mav still the best option or are there other dual pit and meat thermometers I should look at?

Thanks in advance

No detail yet. They are $10 dearer than the ET733 in the states so that'll put them roughly $130ish here.

The release date is March 16, then they take a week to get to us. I've already Pre-ordered stock. And I'm taking Pre-delivery orders now.

The App is available now if you want to have a look at the features. I'm hoping they'll include a charting facility, but no sign of it yet.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .qsmfg.bbq

Should be available on Apple as well for you iPeople, search "Maverick Redi Check ET735"

Includes handy pre-sets for Moose, Elk, Buffalo etc, and you can set a custom temp in any meat catagory, you can also set high and low for any probe monitoring the BBQ itself.

Thanks Chris. Doesn't look to be on the App Store
Would you wait for the newer model or just go with 733?

As usual with Apple you can't just search the App Store without iTunes installed, so I have no way of knowing if the App is there or not.
I can't advise you as we will sell both.
4 probes is nice, but the ET733 is "always on" also if you use bluetooth to stream music, you can't have the ET735 connected (but the display on the sender says it all anyway).
There is Plus and Minus for both!

Well I bit the bullet and bought the 733 at the bbq festival today.

This may be a dumb question but what is the best way to run the probes to the kettle as not to damage them? Should I run them both through the air vent hole or under the lid and just gently put the lid on? Obviously don't want to wreck them so any advice appreciated

I put mine over the lip and put the lid down gently. Just don't have the ends of them where the wire goes in to the probe, directly over heat/flame. And never get that part wet apparently. Although this newer model may be different.
