i organised a buy of 5 refurbished thermapens for my homebrewing club. Shipped no worries. ONly issue was none of them actually worked and each thermapen reported an error on opening it up. I contacted the seller, provided barcodes and they shipped out another 5 which worked.

This did however make me question their 'calibration' certificate. The date on the certificate was the date it was posted to me. The units could not have possibly passed calibration as they did not work.
