Picked up a fork thermometer from the recycling centre for $2.00 looks new it had battery's in it but looks dead put 2 new battery's in it works great put my gassers on before bumping the battery's in the bin noticed they had a thin film of clear plastic over them still ok just goes to show

Yeah, see that quite often with remote controls

Unfortunately those fork things are not very good, but hey, two bucks

Don't know just walked up behind the misses and prodded her on the but and it read cold so I recon they are Fairley accurate
