Igrill mini probe wire question

Post by alimac23 »

Hi guys,

I got my igrill mini on Friday and had my first cook with it yesterday, the probe wire is all metal and looks quite sturdy so do you think it would be ok to run the wire between the lid and the body of the kettle so the lid effectively pinches it against the body or is this a no no for the probe wires?

Thanks gussigan, I didn't think it would be but was just curious to see if anyone had ever broken a probe doing so

Run it out at an angle, lessens the pinch

Old post I know but just adding my two cents.

Got my iGrill mini from BBQ Galore for $49 and I have it sit in the stacker and hood ring of my ProQ Excel.
Used it several times that way and no damage to the cable.
