Howdy Gents,

I was at Bunnings today and they have a new product!

This BBQ non-stick mesh is way thicker than any I have ever seen and is only $3.95 a sheet!

Sheets are 14 x 18 inch (356mm x 457mm)





Here are three in a Large Size pellet grill!...check out the overlap! Cover your entire cooking surface in non-stick mesh for $12...yes please! $8 for the smaller pellet BBQ!!





And the reciept! It's not a special price! It's a new product and that is the normal shelf price!

I would have put this down in "bargains" but it's the normal price, not a mark down!!!



Great Stocking Stuffer!....maybe Santa will bring you a half dozen!

Non stick and the smoke goes through...great for anything delicate, fish, scallops, etc. You can lift the whole sheet, food and all off the grill if you want. Fat drips through it, if you use a solid sheed the food sits in the fat etc.

Handy stuff!

This is the bacon weave on the non-stick mesh



Rolled and secured with toothpicks



Cooked over direct flame with flame tamer in place.

i checked today the Bunnings in Mandurah..

i asked the staff but the only bbq liner what they have is the bbq mate.. not a mesh ?

where in bunnings can i find the magic mesh ?

Bibra Lake has them, O'connor has run out.....probably coz I bought 6 and gave the checkout chick and everyone in the queue a lecture about what they are and how cheap they are!

I just bought 3 of these from bunnings in maribrynong Melbourne, they have heaps of stock if anyone wants, I counted about 30 on the shelf.

As far as I can tell they have no wire in them, and seem to be just made of silicone....? Look good. Bargain!

Ever noticed that there never seem to be staff in the aisle for BBQ stuff at Bunnys ?

I want a power tool, or even some screws, no prob, bbq... desert....

Crazy really, unless their margin structure defies reality.

I get less and less interested in the bricks and mortar retail, so much easier to just get on-line. Which is sad, I like the interaction, but when it's not there....

A paradigm shift I suppose, which is sort of belied here by Masters opening and Bunnings expanding - but nobody said the big guys are not slowly freezing dinosaurs...
