I always ordered OX Brisket Point....if you specify that, you'll get only points....make sure you say OX or you'll get Yearling and they are too small.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm sure they were full packer briskets? Point and flat? The point is the good bit? Much more marbelled etc.
maybe I'm confusing you with my lack of knowledge haha

Sorry didn't get a chance to get in touch with BSG yesterday as I was flat out but after having read all these past comments, I'm thinking I need to go back and clarify that we want OX and potentially that will change carton weight, size and maybe price?

But then I see some of you are happy with a smaller brisket anyway, so I'm royally confused at this point.

I think it would be good to check the Price of OX. They will be a better brisket with more marble

Will do. Might even just go visit them and have a sticky beak if they'll let me.

Likewise.

I'm not massively fussed by size or price within reason, I'll be reducing the piece to manageable joints anyway.

There is nothing to see, they don't hold stock, it's ordered in for their customers, order one week and it comes in from Tas the next week and is delivered to you.

Oh.

I foolishly assumed they had them in stock when they emailed to tell me they had them in stock.

They've never carried stock before...maybe they do now? But it's all going to be in sealed 20kg boxes (that's the way it's sold) so still not much to see.

Heard back from the supplier and they've told me they're all OX.

Happy for me to pull the trigger?
