Louis from ProQ sent me this to post for Sydneyites:
Australian Meat Emporium are now stocking very meaty pork spare ribs. They are from Rivalea, the guys who supply Costco.
As a special offer, the Manager will sell for
$16/kg to BBQ forum members (normally $22.99/kg.
Ask for
Ben to receive the discount!
Cheers

Still can't understand why ribs have become so expensive. They shouldn't cost more than $10/kg given the bone to meat ratio, but these days sub $20 ribs are rare, be they pork or meat, thick or thin ...

Hi guys longtime lurker but thought I would share that Harris Farm has been doing some decent
Pork ribs at about $18 a kg. Not amazing value but much more convenient for me that Costco or Alexandria. Cheers!!

They look exactly like the Costco ones. Very good value, especially considering that no paid membership is required (unlike Costco).

I went to the meat emporium on the weekend and bought some of the "pork belly" ribs that had been mentioning in their most recent newsletter. I got to say, i was less than impressed with the size and the amount of meat on the ribs. I would have done better buying from a local butcher rather than driving all the way from Penrith to Alexandria.

Had a couple of rubbish things from there but a few successes. Will always be better with a butcher
