Anyone used or seen this before?

Post by gnol »

Beef Tapa mix
curing powder.

I've just nearly defrosted a brisket which weighs 4kg untrimmed and am wondering if I should use this for a rub.
I imagine I'll trim about 500gm of fat off it. The lady in the shop i got it said to cube the meat and marinate it overnight then cook it on skewers on charcoal.
I'm thinking of cutting the brisket in half and maybe trying this on the smaller piece.

As you can see on the pack this amount is for 1kg of meat.

I asked if it is ok for pork but they had a different one for pork that I did not buy.

Well I'll just suck it and see. I've rubbed about 1kg of meat with half this pack.

Puny brisket I got again. I'll update in another thread.

Don't argue with idiots.. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
