I've gotta tell you about the Stoker

Hi Whiskynwine...thanks for your post.

During my research into pit controllers I eventually narrowed my choice down to just two products; the Stoker & the BBQ Guru DigiQ II.

Both products appeared to receive equally good reviews from end users & I'm sure that I would have been quite happy with either product.
Like most products they both have their good & bad points & subtle differences between them.

In the end I decided to purchase the BBQ Guru DigiQ II as I felt that it best fitted my needs & at a price that I was happy to pay.

I think the difference between the two is along the same lines as that old argument about which car is better, Ford or Holden (perhaps Ford or GM for you guys in the states), as we all know there is nothing actually "wrong" with either choice, it just that different individuals have different needs & requirements.
