Portable Charcoal BBQ

Post by mrtonya »

Hi
I'm looking for a small BBQ for a wedding present.
I'm not looking at spending much since I don't know them that well; OK I'm a tight arse :)
I saw this in todays paper,
http://www.victoriasbasement.com.au/Pro ... ails/79279

It's a "Benzer Metro charcoal BBQ", $29.

Are there better on the market, I don't want to get total crap and they may in the future invite me over for a steak.
Thanks

Weber Go Anywhere, around the $115 mark, says you have a bit of class and not a tight arse as you put it.
Good product and will last years longer than your linked one
Cheers

Or a Smokey Joe. That can be had for a $100. Cooks a mean steak.

Just depends on how much you like them, buy a GA, keep it for yourself.

Give them a bag of charcoal as down payment

Umm....this thread is 2 years old. I would think the decision has been made.
