The "Royal Kamado" Clan - 38.5 and Counting

Post by Livewire »

This threads intention is to list all "Royal Kamado" Clan members with their assent date to the throne

Please add your own message and assent date and edit/update the message whenever with links to your other posts of success stories from the Royal's

I will keep the initial Order of the Throne update with new members

Image

We may one day uprise and take-on the Imperialist, albeit we would have to be around as long as they have and then find one of them that is still alive

OK... Here is my story... (you asked for it Glenn 240 volts)

Saw these things years ago in bbq shops and thought WTF...??? Who would pay that much for a BBQ...???

So I got a Weber, lasted for ages, thought I was a shmick cook on it,then the cheap chinese bbq's with a lid became the fashion, got one for the rotiss

Image

Image

They last 3 years or so,so how many have I gone through...

At present I have 8 bbq's on the block...

Had I got a Kamado in the first place,I would be $$$ infront...!!!

Well you guys on here opened my eyes up as far as Kamados went

Bin usin a Weber kettle for years so a kamado was no big deal to learn how to use, mine came with out a book (Bought it privately) this joint came in handy for info...!!!

My first cook was Olgas Chevapchichi and some snags...

Image

Image

Just look at how much juice was left in...

Image

Image

Well that was it... love this thing more than SWMBO...

Next up was an old regular,a chook, I liked the way the rotiss came up,but now no need to muck with all that crap

The way it comes out of the Kamado is basically the same, just turn it once...!!!

Image

Image

Look how juicy it is...

Next was me smoker box...

Tried some lamb leg chops the other day... bloody beautiful...
