mallee root charcoal

can anybody tell me if they know of anywere around melbourne i can buy some mallee root charcoal. ikeep hearing how great it is to cook with but never were to get it.

I have only found a couple of references of restaurants that use that type of charcoal...
Can call them to see if they can provide a supplier..

One of them had reference to mallee wood (like smoking chips?)

I have bought mallee root charcoal a few years ago at Dunnings in Kew. Cnr of Harp road & High St. They also had redgum & one other.

I now buy charcoal from Psarakos in Thornbury. Out the the back they have a huge fruit & veg section & sell 20kg bags for a bit over $20
