44 gallon drum bbq

Anyone made a 44 gallon drum bbq? I would use it with heat beads if I had one.

Thanks for the reply. I was meaning a drum bbq not a ugly drum smoker. I have a UDS that I made already. Looking to make or buy a ugly drum grill to go with it.

Yes like that.
Anyone madeone of these?
Seems to be 2 options withe the lid cut. a 180 degree cut or a 90 degree cut. I am not sure which would be better?

What do you use for a cooking grate?
What cut on the lid do you prefer 180 degree or 90 degree and why?

Hi everyone and Happy New Year.
I ended up buying a 44 gallon drum bbq set up as a offset smoker cheap.
Works well as a grill.
Cooked pork chops with crackling in it and it worked well.
I will need some practise to use the offset smoker but that is the fun of bbq.
