Hi all,
I've been looking into spits and noticed a lot of the stand alone charcoal ones don't have hoods. Why would this be the case as a lot of heat gets lost.
I did notice one with a hood being the barbeskew range.
What's everyone's thoughts on using spits with or without a hood? Has anyone tried the barbeskew?
Thanks

What are you looking to cook on it?
Depending on what you are going to cook and how frequently, renting a spit may be a good option.
