Hey guys! Just a quick question for the gurus here. My local big B store has started to stock 'chargrillers' premium lump made from hardwood.
23 for 10kg. Lots of big lumps, nothing really undersized.
It dosnt seem to burn super hot, but im pretty sure I just didn't light enough. Got to learn how to use lump now! What a terrible thing, having to bbq heh.
I'm just curious if anyone's used it before, and if it's any good, over priced or whatnot.
Being 5 mins away, it's certainly convenient.
Also! Does anyone use the charcoal bin on the weber performer for charcoal? I'm always afraid it would get dam from humidity and ruin the load...?

Re: Charcoal brands
Picked up a box of the stuff last week, as you said mostly nice big chunks though I haven't reached the bottom yet where the little stuff likely would be hiding.
Just used it once so far and seemed to work fine.

Re: Charcoal brands
I just use a large plastic "rolling" container for my lump charcoal (im in QLD) and so far no issues with dampness...
