I'm going to build a new trolley that can incorporate everything:
Weber Kettle
Weber Smokey Mountain
Weber Go Anywhere
Gas powered charcoal starter & chimney
Rotisserie ring & accessories
Tongs, cooking tools, injector etc
Maverick thermometers
iQue110 & accessories

Re: Bear's custom Weber trolley build
Admittedly, I am going to cheat in every way possible, starting with a trolley with shelves & drawers that I already own.
Also, I will be utilising family resources by employing the assistance of my father who can weld.
Here is my starting point.

Re: Bear's custom Weber trolley build
Step 1, design & build a frame for the kettle:
Spray painting
Attach frame to trolley with SS bolts
Mount kettle in place, yeehaa!

That's looking good already!!!
Common Sense is so rare these days it should be a Super Power!
Re: Bear's custom Weber trolley build
I'm really pleased with this build so far. We designed it to be as portable as possible, and to be as flexible as possible.
I'm planning to be able to mount the WSM to use as either a smoker (as pictured below) or to be able to lift the bottom section to the same height as the kettle, removing the stacker middle section and use as another 'mini' kettle.

Very impressive Bear!!!
How did you attach the kettle ?
Have you thought about lid holders?
I'll be following this thread

Thanks for the positive comments folks.
Hogsy, the kettle was formerly a platinum so it already had the mounting brackets attached. I haven't been able to think of a satisfactory solution to lid holders (I'm not a fan of the slide aside) that won't cause drips on my pavers.
Thinking cap is on, but not working

Re: Bear's custom Weber trolley build
Lids and drips, always a problem, you can't stop them dripping so maybe put a gutter along the back of the bench to catch them and be disposed of? Just some lid hooks back there ?
Love it, my Q is on a recycled roll around tool box re-purposed, same motivation, but no torches - yet
Cheers
