Converting a 57cm OTS to a WSM?

Does anyone know how to do this? Can you buy a section that fits straight in? Expensive? Will this work as well as a WSM? What is the meaning of life?

From memory (which has a habit of fading a bit nowdays) some of the 200 litre drums will more or less fit if you want to try to cobble up your own? Pretty sure there is a post on here somewhere about it?
I'm sure someone else with more info will be along soon.

Thanks Chris, we'd pretty much be rooted in BBQ land if it wasn't for you mate. I'm gonna build this, just need to get me a Mig or Stick welder. Does anyone know where to get drums around Sydney (preferably in the Shire area)?

Check Gumtree. I know there's a guy in Doonside who sells 220lt drums.

Check Gumtree. I know there's a guy in Doonside who sells 220lt drums.

Go to those U-Brew joints...they have food grade drums.
