New kamado at bunnings similar to BSK

On my wander around the bbq section at bunnings today I spoted a new kamado they are stocking. Nice to see the country getting more into there slow cooked meats

Was $499 too, guess there would be a market for ppl who don't want to spend $700+ on a ceramic one. Although the quality didn't seem there, lid felt light but I don't know wat to expect from a steel unit as I have a bear grills.

Heres a few pics I took for anyone whos interested, seems pretty good value, had heat deflector and 2nd grill rack (didnt say wether it came with a cover or not!

i went to bunnings on the weekend and didnt see one of these. mine local also doesnt stock that offset smoker in the background.

The Acorn has a massive following in the US, good to see another option in the market.

If Brunnings ever special it I may be tempted, would be cool to have one I can take camping with ease!

Obviously Port Melbourne is not into BBQ, my bunnings doesn't have either the kamodo, or the offset... Lucky BBQ Plus is around the corner.

yer this one was at kirrawee in sydney, its a pretty large store, or maybe its new stock and hasnt made it out to the other stores yet... well keep your eyes peeled!

It doesn't look too bad, but for an extra $139, I would definitely move up to the Vision Kamado from Costco.

If they are $350usd on amazon, bunnings have them for $499

That's a pretty good price!
