Lump in brisbane
Does anyone know if there are any charcoal supplies in Brisbane? I'm buying mine from masters in Springfield at the moment but I would rather buy from a stockist. And what about fruit smoking woods? Any local supplies?
Re: Lump in brisbane
There is a bloke selling 20kg bags of gidgee of the supliers list but only sells in pallets of 50 bags.
I think Beerme sells 18kg bags ?
$32 per bag, Not too bad for a small buy and being gidgee burns the longest of all of them.
Give him a call,

Hi Kroo Killer,
As Smokey Mick said, we sell 18kg bags of Gidgee charcoal for $32. If you buy 2 or more bags we'll deliver for free to Brisbane and northern Gold Coast or you are welcome to pickup from our Shailer Park warehouse.
We don't stock any fruit woodchips, only Beech and Oak woodchips - $7 for 1kg.
If you're interested feel free to pm, email (sales@smokekingbbqs.com.au) or call (0418 550 465) me to discuss.
Regards
Gary

No problem Glen. People can get charcoal from wherever they like. And this forum is all about sharing our thoughts regarding products, suppliers, etc.bbqmad wrote: Not tryin to cut you out in anyway Garyi bring this up for myself not for sellin

I assume you've tried Gidgee before and think Redgum is worth the extra cost? Care to provide your views on why it's better...? I'd be keen to compare it, maybe I'll get a bag or two from you...
