Thermometers?

Just wondering if the Thermomerters that how with the smokers are reliable or not, if not what's a good wireless or type to use without breaking the bank. Cheers woody. Ps, just wondering if you can get one that you can have in your meat for temp and one to keep an eye on the chamber for fluctuating temps?
