Anyone doing BBQ for Australia Day

Post by Davo »

Hi folks...Australia day is fast approaching...anyone got much planned for the BBQ?

It looks as though it will be hot...approaching 40C in many places...so just keep an ear out for any Fireban days which unfortunately means no live fires.....Charcoal or wood....and this could even extend to pellet BBQs as well.

So...is Lamb on the menu? Maybe chicken or beef...perhaps a rotisserie....but pizzas are a fun food for the BBQ too

So what have you all got planned....big gathering or just the family?

Whatever you end up doing....have a Happy Australia day

Was going to but things change.

Now I'm driving to Sydney for work on Saturday morning and starting a 5 day shift.

As long as there is no fire ban then I'd say definitely.
Probably all weekend :D

Yeah I want to use the Kettle but I don't want to be standing around all day with it as I don't have any shade or awnings where I am, so I was thinking maybe get a whole heap of buffalo wings and use the kettle kone to grill them up....maybe a couple of lamb loin chops to grill and eat while waiting for the wings......

or I might go to the club in the air cond and grab a lamb roast
