hi all merry xmas I have had weber bbqs for a long time I have followed the books for set ups using
foil for roasting in my baby q aswell as my spirit 210. is it better to use foil doubled under trivet or none at all
just curious as I was reading a post by captain and in iit said roast chicken directly on trivet
I am not nit picking or trying to start a war just confused thanks

Place a doubled sheet of foil under the trivet on the grill as this is the only way to do indirect on the Q

Make some slit cuts in the foil between the bars so that fats can drip down into the drip tray below

Place roast ontop of the trivet, gas control 2 spaces below Hi and close lid.

If you're doing pork crackling, place control on Hi for 20 minutes first then s spaces below high.
