Ch 33 'the FOOD channel'
Does anyone here watch the FOOD channel (ch 33) on TV ??
They had a session on making hamburgers the USA way last night
Looked interesting seeing the preparation they go to
They don't appear to have weber/zigy style gas BBQ's there, using mainly wood, or wood substitute, for the smokey flavor, or the larger 5 x burner gas BBQ's (with hoods)
Yes, they really do believe bigger is better

it's a very different world where you can smell but can't see what's happening with your food

Theres going to be some interesting BBQ shows coming up as well including one called "F**k that's delicious" or something along those lines ...so it seems a lot of the shows only we could view on pay TV are now coming over to free-view...lets hope so and screw Pay TV
I see a lot of those comp shows on telly now including lets beat Bobby Flay or that comp with Curtis stone....it seems that Aussie have become as food mad as the Yanks. I think many waistlines might grow accordingly
Still...I enjoy watching them but the wife gets the willies if I watch too much of it.....well I say to her...would you rather me watch the cricket?
Cheers

Watched a couple of episodes of Underground BBQ challenge yesterday afternoon. They had some massive BBQ's cooking huge amounts of meat. One of them looked to be similar height dimensions to a fuel tanker, not quite as long. He towed it around with a bus.
