It didn't pull but was very easy to cut, it has a nice flavour but seems to be super salty :?

We have a second one still in the freezer and the little lady said "you can do that one on the rotisserie" !

At least the Pro Q worked without any problems for just over 6 hours, when I did get to have a look only about 70% of the charcoal and heat beats had been used, so it may have had another couple of hours cooking time in it if needed.

Will be going over to Brown Plain during the week and have a look at the Super Butcher.

I wonder if it was brined or something by Coles? I do normally give mine a good lashing of salt and other spices but I wouldn't typically think of brisket as being salty.

Good luck, sometimes they have some great prices on certain stuff - these days I ignore everything except the sales/cheap cuts tables. Try not to get too tempted, I often leave with lots of stuff I didn't plan to buy!!
