Home Brew

Post by mrtonya »

Hi, can anyone recommend a good Australian "home brew" forum?
I was given a home brew kit for Christmas and have lots to learn.
Thanks

I'd also recommend joining a local brewing club.

You'll not only get information on how to brew, but you'll get to meet some great people, share your own as well as their beers, and get instant feedback from some pretty qualified beer judges.

Depending on where you live, have a Google around, I'm sure you'll find one local. There's a couple in every major city, and in most regionals.

You'll also find that the people who work in home brew supply shops love to talk, dispense advice and help newbies. Try to pick a time where they are unlikely to be busy (i.e. not Saturday morning) and have a good chat. If you happen to be in Sydney on the lower north shore, then Dave's Homebrew in North Sydney (on Miller St.) is a good place.
