Jeez, it's kinda boring in this forum lately. Not many new posts to read and I thought that you all better be out BBQ-ing or you'll need a note
I thought I'd start this post off with a well known but often misunderstood quote from Miss Bingle (heading) as it didn't work for the Poms who thought it was too brash and the Americans just couldn't understand why we would put that on a tourism advert
I didn't really have much planned for this Australia day weekend as work kinda took over most of the previous week but I intend on just sitting down with a few coldies and a few lamb chops on the little Q.
Just stay home and have a swim in the pool is all i need before another gruelling week behind the wheel of the truck.
Problem with long weekends is if you don't get in early to organise the get togethers, then folks have made other plans and i tend to leave things at the last minute as usual. Anyway, nothing wrong in having a quiet BBQ on Aussie day with just the wife & dog as then I can relax a little and don't have to go all out and impress people with sumptious roasts and prawn kebabs and the like and just keep things simple and relax.
So What in the Bl@@dy Hell are you all planning?
Cheers
Davo

Adelaide has some really nice spots down by the water and some awesome parklands as well.
I last went there back on the ealry 90's and had probably one of the biggest hamburgers I've ever eaten up in Hahndorf at the pub.It was so huge, they had to hold it together with a stick
Happy Australia day....in the best country on Earth.
Cheers
