G'day Kev,

Congratulations to Ally for her future wedding day....praying the weather will be glorious for the big event.

Congrats to you Kev and Janet for the great opportunity to plan this event.

This sounds like it's going to be an awesome BBQ Wedding.....Ballandean will be smelling rather meaty for weeks

I think the key here Kev, to reduce the stress levels on an occasion like this is draw out a game plan just like if you were to write out a business plan so you have a guide to know where you're at before and during the event. You might wanna invite your butcher  so he can keep an eye on Gordy while you're out doing the Isle walking gig with Alley.

The catering job will take just as much planning if not more than the wedding itself due to all the little bits like sauce preps as you mentioned, brining times and BBQing timing for each different meat types.

All ya need now is to find a good bluegrass band to complete the Hillybilly theme

YEEEEEEEEHHAAAAAAAAA!!

This may be the event of the year....wish I could get up there to help you out.

All the very best you guys

Cheers

That's a good looking apron. Just needs a stubby holder on each hip

Yep get the places details to me so I can lock it in
Glen, what times / days are you heading out?
Im thinking an early Sat drive out.
Dunno how far away things are in town but we might be able to share taxi service.

Kev mate...

I'd love to be a part of this, to help toss the meat...... I could even help with the Herbs :P

I'd be more than happy taking the run up on the Scooter

But, unfortunately, I have checked the ladies roster and she is on that weekend, so I have to sit..

But- pencil me in as I might be able to organize a sitter.

Btw, I don't eat much and will earn my keep

Congrats on Ally, getting hitched,,, and I am sure she will be over grateful for what her old man has got prepared.

This is sounding more and more like a BBQ-fest than an actual wedding.
