After a few glitches threw this forum offline for a few Months, its now back online.
Unfortunately with adverts which help pay to keep it online.

With tbe ending of SF&S in a couple of days time, all members are more than Welcome to return to here and carry on as normal.

That’s not correct. Aussiecue that was resurrected by the pink lady butcher is still alive. Like all forums it has less use.
It seems old forums have advertising these days let’s hope there is enough folk at least reading so that the fees will keep them alive. There’s a few British ones that I was involved in have no mods anymore. Someone cleans up the posts every now and then but they are just shells for the advertising dollar

I was not aware Aussiecue was rescued so forgive me for that.
Yeah I know that advsrts help with the cost but bloody hell they are annoying, especially on a mobile phone.
On a side note...gorgeous day on the lazt xay of Winter in Japan 20c.

Adds here are really low key. There are no pop ups to close down just to continue. Try going to amazinribs sometime. 3 adds on the screen at anyone time with a pop up demanding your email for a newsletter. You can’t use the site. It’s that bad.

I've yet to use the forum much on the laptop but I'm getting quite a few adverts that block my phone screen.

I hope you stick around Cobbler, adverts or not, i'm trying to make this site more user friendly but a bit hard to do atm while in Japan with limited internet.

I have a 4g data sim i'm using as i type this and its ok outside the house but once inside, it barely works at all.

I was going through my bookmarks this morning, and I clicked on this one to make sure it was dead before I deleted it. Well, bugger me, here she is, up and running again .

I feally can't do much Steve while I'm in Japan and Paulr is living in the Netherlands currently so i'm only on my phone atm but when I get home, I'll see how this forum can become better providing of course that we can get some usage from members.
I understand this is an old format but is still useful and still a lot of info from before.

This forum went offline for a while for whatever reason but as far as I'm aware, we lost nothing.

I'll have to see what I can do with this forum when i get back in 3 weeks.
