Of course there after sales service and I've got to hand it to you Dave, you're right on top of it, any issues and you sort it. I think next in line would be the Z-Grills for sales back up as well as Weber.
Wood pellets in my mind are getting quite expensive now, I've seen $40 for a 9 kilo bags, it think it was Traeger, not sure, it would make you not want to boost to grilling temps at those prices as 1kg per hour.

Davo, the older YS640 cooking in the middle of Winter here in Adelaide cooking at 225F/107C would barely get 12 hours out of a 9.07/20lb bag of BBQr's Delight Pellets. The NEW Yoder YS640s exactly same conditions gets 20 hours cooking out of the same bag... so 8 hours more!

Facebook forums only win because it's more instant, but good luck trying to find archive posts and topics that are anymore than 3 weeks old....that is the downside unless people keep feeding posts into that topic, it just fades into the never never!!
Schuey has filled a niche, has a good and funny character, keeps it interesting, sometimes over the top, I cringe when he throws the food grate at the kettle....far out...that part i hate....i'm not a fan of disrespecting great equipment.
Anyway, I better get my arse into gear and do some stuff.......Thanks for the chat mate, wishing you well with your Yoders over the next 12 years. I wish I could afford a YS640

Not quite true re Facebook. Im Admin on a few Facebook Groups and they all have a 'FEATURED' Tab where you can save posts, albeit not as detailed as the Forum.
The Aussie Pellet Smoker BBQ Group is gaining around 20-30 new members a day and is by FAR the biggest Pellet group in Australia with over 15,500 members currently.
I know Shuey and he is a top bloke, just says it how it is, cooks on a Z-Grill, but I need to get him cooking on a Yoder YS640s

You might have to donate on Dave and while you're at it...I'll put one to the test
8 more hours out of a bag, now that's one hell of an improvement, how did they manage that?

Haha
Yoder achieved the extra 8 hours burn time from the electronics and new High Air Flow Burn Grate. It really is a massive change, 66.6% EXTRA burn time from a 9.07kg bag of BBQr's Delight. When I imported the Louisiana LG900 into Australia, same conditions, same cooking temp and same pellets only managed barely 10 hours cooking time, so the New Yoder YS640s get double, a real game changer.
The second generation YS640s is so much more advanced than the older YS640 models, but the good news is I have the upgrade kits.

What do the new 640's retail for now, I'm guessing no change out of $5K?
YS640s Standard Cart RRP is $5,195.00 inc GST , there are sme bargains second had if you keep looking. One Guy just bought an older YS640 for $1500 and is upgrading his electronics to the New S model Spec
Well, I had a long old time member recently contact me to see if we can get this forum fired up again......Haven't seen that member here since so I'm thinking it could've been a gee-up or something......it is what it is!!
I knew it was too good to be true!!
