For those on the Gold Coast / Brisbane, found a good local outlet yesterday with plenty of stock. Seems several in the local trawler fleet freeze and trade their catch at Warwick Meats out at Molendinar. I grabbed a 5kg box of medium tigers (U20) @ $22 a KG (1/2 a tonne in stock
). Box reported from a boat out of Moolabah last month. The Casino and Marriott currently serve these. Large local green kings ideal for BBQ (U10) were $30.

I hope there are Commander. If you have some leads please share.
I’m on the Goldy strip and it’s very quiet for this time of year. Still plenty of vacancy signs up on the beach.
Comparing apples with apples and not foreign imports like at Coles or Wollies, this is the wild local product, not farmed.

I normally shoot off to Jacobs Well for their Black Tiger prawns, raw or cooked, they might be farmed, but at least their fresh and tasty, best value on the Gold Coast.
Cheers
