Aldi Coolabah / Hark Gas Smoker instructions

Post by peteru » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:39 pm

I managed to find a gas smoker at Chatswood Aldi. It was in an open box, but unused - discounted to $129. Yay! Much rejoicing was had at the store. Not so much rejoicing when I got it home and found that there were no instructions or any other paperwork in the box.

Would anyone be able to scan a copy of their instruction manual for me please?

Going by the pictures on the box, I think I managed to assemble most of it correctly. I've got a few left over parts that I don't know what to do with:
  • what looks like a shoulder strap
  • small metal hook
  • thin plastic cable tie
Any idea how those fit into the picture?

One of the legs has a hole drilled in it about half way up. I put it in the left rear corner, but I wonder if it serves an important enough purpose that I would have to move it.

All that stuff is for hanging the hose when you disconnect the gas bottle.

If you put the legs on the right way (doubtful as I buggered it up with instructions) the cable tie goes through the hole on the front right one to hold the gas hose. Useful so any pull doesn't tug on the fitting.

Sorry though I threw the book away...
