recommendations small offset

Post by beginner »

right now i run a WSM 18.5 and a homemade mini WSM, the capacities work really well for me but i've become interested in working with an actual fire rather than the charcoal / wood chunk setup in the bullets. i've been eyeing some of the nice locally crafted offsets but they all look massive, 80% of the time I only have 2kg on, are there good quality smaller models about or is it too much of a struggle maintaining a smaller fire

Give people an inkling of where you are, they probably could guide you better .
You near Seaford Victoria?

ah yeah i am in melbourne, close enough to seaford
looks like the sort of size i'm after, what's the quality on these things like? was thinking maybe 2 grand sort of range if that would buy something robust.
