hello everyone
i purchased about 12 months ago a bargain at the local junk yard.
a bbq's galore $99 smoker for $15
it's round and about 800mm high with like a webber lid with a temp gauge on top.
it also has a stainless steel trap door down the bottom to feed the charcoal or brikkets into. it also has 2 pans one for the fire and one for the water and it splits into 3 parts.
beside all that, i had myself a absolutely delicious chicken dinner. 4 thighs and 1 full chook. i injected peri peri lemon and herb marinade through it and i marinaded the thighs
with red wine and garlic marinade. wow.
i stated up the fire with hard wood and let it burn for 1 hour then also stuck on some hardwood charcoal. loaded the chicken, butterflied with the inside to the flames and then the thighs.
i then had a block of hard wood like a 90mm x 90mm of wood onto the charcoal and this created my smoke.
i can not describe the tenderness and the taste that ran through my mouth. i love smoked chicken.
