have been very quiet on this forum for some time have had my head down and butt up in my garage with a trailer pit that im building.

That is a very well thought out build Andrew, well done mate!
There is a lot of familiar features that I think take it up a notch!
The trap door next to the fire box is a great one for instance, there will be times you're glad you put it there, that is for sure.

Yes have to say have stalked the yoder site and the Gator pit sites heavily in the design and build of this pit mate...like the HMS idea so i put it into my design.
Looking to have it on the road for the Creekside event in October.

Hi Dez,
It 73 inch in length and 24 in diameter with a 24 inch square 1/2 inch thick firebox.
Main chamber is 10mm thick.
