I own 10 different BBQs
Captain
I own one Weber Family Q and love it. If I owned more than one, let alone 10, I would not have a marriage! :D

When seasoning with salt, what is involved Captain? Is it just sprinkling the salt over the meat prior to bbqing?

Re: Weber Q Built in Unit

Have you spoken to the Weber people about the requirements? If not, they might be able to help.

Re: The move from 4 burner to Weber Q

I have owned my Weber Family Q 3200 since 2012. I would agree with what has already been posted. I am unable to make an informed comment about the Genesis as I do not own one. A couple of things I would had to the comments, if you decide to go with the Weber Q. Ensure you buy from a specialist Weber...

I think I bought my replacement trays at IGA or Coles for just a few $$
Were they the same "low" height as the Weber trays?

Re: Cheap Foil Trays

I forgot to mention, BCF put a $10 voucher on members' cards yesterday, to be spent within a few days. Therefore, the trays cost me zero dollars! Even better, you must agree.

Cheap Foil Trays

Hello All, I was in my local BCF store this afternoon and to my surprise I found by accident a generic brand of aluminum foil trays which are an identical size to the Weber Q brand. (I went into the store with the intention of buying the Weber product.) I have found in the past the aftermarket trays...

I went to their Facebook page but one is unable to post comments. Although I did not see any reference to the bbq story.

Re: ch9 a Current Affair dumps on the Weber

Yes Davo, I thought the same thing about the Weber with the lid up. Not the way to use a Weber Q, as we all know. Well, nearly everyone, except for the so called experts in the segment.

Re: ch9 a Current Affair dumps on the Weber

Definitely a scientific study into bbqs, NOT! Who were the "experts" doing the cooking? The Choice representative's comment about hoping to get at least a summer out of the bbq or better still two, surprised me. I would have thought, years of use would be expected from a bbq. Yes, in the p...

Controlling Weber Baby Q temperature

Hello All, my brother-in-law has a Weber Baby Q, has owned it for some time now. When cooking a roast he is unable to get the temperature below 400 degrees F. Any ideas how to reduce the temperature?

If a company looked after me like that i would be writing to them with heartfelt appreciation. As you could imagine, following the meltdown, pics, new weber Q and replacement grates to get you grilling by Xmas day is an amazing feat considering how busy this time of year is. Re: Weber Baby Q frame MELTS to the ground

I use a doubled over sheet of foil fitted into the aluminium holder and replace it regularly. Captain Ok, will have to do that on Xmas day if can't get real trays :D I use the generic brand foil trays available from the cheap shops; for example Cheap as Chips. The top edge of the tray folds back sl...
