Re: Hark Tri Fire - first play
Mine seemed to be totally out of whack with the temp at the grill. Had it going for a good four hours or so last night before I shut all the vents and called it a night. Although once I put the Maverick probes in the chamber I didn't pay much attention to the Hark thermometer. I'll pay more attentio...

Re: Beavers Guide to Aussie Brisket

Re: Best Aussie flour for Pizza
Haven't tried their "00" flour but I got my last batch of bread flour from All About Bread after being unhappy with the bread flour I got from Coles. Was very happy with the way stuff turned out compared to the supermarket stuff. Have only used it to make one loaf of bread and a batch of b...

Re: Why can't we have this here?
The amount of Kit Kats on offer in Japan is brilliant. I'll be digging into a few of these random flavours when I head over later this year.
Bit of a fan of the Green Tea ones... Didn't spot the Wasabi ones on my visit last year so will keep an eye out for them!

Re: Pizza base too hard
Once you make your own dough you'll never go back to store bought again. Doesn't take long to make and it's pretty simple.

council pick up in my neck of the woods at the moment. Been on the lookout while wandering round the neighbourhood but the only thing on the side of the road around here is cheap gassers that people are throwing out

Thanks guys,
Yes Gumb a tuning plate is high on the list of must have accessories when I pick up my smoker. I'll make sure to put one on order when I'm ready to buy the smoker. Just waiting to move house before I buy it.

BBQ Newbie
Hey, I've been lurking around a few BBQ forums and thought I'd sign up. Currently just have a standard 4 burner cheapie from Bunnings that was given to me a few years back as a gift but will be picking up a Hark Tri-Fire offset once I move house in the next couple of months.
