Christmas Turkey

Just took a photo of this while doing a check,brined with J$ poultry and turkey brine from pellethead forum and cooked using macadamia pellets, it was one of the best turkeys i have ever done.i think the pellet grill did the job, i love my traeger. Hi all thanks for the reply,they are woodpellet.bbq and it is the first time it has happened i used a bag of beer pellets same brand no problems,even my home pressed vic hardwood sawdust and the other traeger pellets i use burn very clean,btw it gets vaccumed out after every use ,

i used macadamia pellets in Lill Tex for christmas cook up,cleaned it out yesterday and found approx 10mm thick and approx 6cm in diameter of hard slag in the fire box, i wonder if they made with a binder or is it just the macadamia waste it was even stuck to the hot rod. It made by (Food Industry Products) which is in Altona, but i bought it from a wholesaler in ballarat, 5kg bucket for $19.00 Hi Vern I use the same product and got it from the same place,i go by the instructions on the pail exactly, mind you i looked at it and read it several times before i used it...

Pellet Press

Hi all, purchaced pellet press,a bit of a dud until 3rd modification, first roller bearings failed,replaced with skf brg's,3 hp single phase motor not powerfull enough,fitted 8hp petrol and is all good.
