Kettle Pizza

Hi all, Apologies if this thread has occurred before (but I could not find it if it has) ... has anyone used or purchased one of these. Seems pretty cool but OTT expensive (at least in my opinion). https://www.kettlepizzaoz.com/collections/pizza-oven-kits/products/kettlepizza-pro-pizza-oven-kit-kppk...

Re: Hi ... and to gas or not to gas

Hey - this is cool and wonderful service. See that green Weber kettle in the back ... it had a rust spot/slight hole where the handle was welded to the lid (See this photo below ) - the service man that installed my Gen 2 suggested that I call Weber to enquire about possibility of a new lid. So... a...

Re: Hi ... and to gas or not to gas

Hope everyone is enjoying Sunday morning ... Well ...the new BBQ was installed yesterday (the Weber guys was around for about 90minutes, perhaps a tad longer - very friendly, lots of advice and a good walk through of the new kit. Biggest point (I think) was ensuring the pressure of the natural gas w...

Re: Anyone from Sydney planning to get Komodo Kamado?

Hey DJMM, Welcome and I love this thread - why? I had no idea what a 'Komodo' Kamado was and now (after a bit of time on the google machine) - wow! I love the fact that the guy that makes them is so confident about the quality and blunt about the value - you either in the market for this type of BBQ...

Chicken and Boerewors

Cleaned the Kettle yesterday while waiting for some new BBQ kit to arrive - banged out some simple chicken and great tasting sausage.

Reasonably satisfying to sit and eat this fare over a beer.

Re: Advice on new purchase

Thanks for the feedback! Food for thought... Just chanced upon this thread... @Gourmet Joe:- What did you end up buying? Too late for me to contribute I guess but I was looking for ages and found that the Genesis 2 is available in a 4 burner. (I am pretty sure the old genesis was only available in ...

Re: Hi ... and to gas or not to gas

Your green kettle looks the goods. You could imagine you were in Europe somewhere with those photos. Cheers mate - probably not much room in Europe either! Green kettle looks even better now after a big clean and I’m about to bang a butterfly chook and boerewors on it. I’m also banging into freshly...

Re: Aaaargh!

Cheers Groovy G ... I find myself cooking for extended family quite a bit - so space and flexibility to cater for all sorts of tastes and quantities will help me. I'm looking forward to the charcoal (existing kettle) and gas option... and I am kinda coming around to a hibachi on the side ... for whe...
