Ok Guys ,I have got Kwikuit and cure#1 Prag powder and allsorts of other cures, but I always use hi mountain buckboard bacon cure as a dry rub it comes in 2 pack,s per packet with correct amounts shown for weight so cant go wrong, makes fantastic bacon.

I bought a chook stand from bbq galore today, when I set it up with a chook on the weber, I found that it sat too high and the lid would sit on the weber without touching. So I ended up taking off the top rack and placing the chook between the two charcoal grates. Is this normal? On a positive note...

Not the best presentation (already half eaten!), but here are my lamb chops reverse seared on the Weber GA with a hint of hickory........delicious and very tender! :D (The thick chop had 5 mins per side indirect (48C internal temp) , then a 45 sec sear over hot coals to finish. Looks Good Richard! Beetroot Juice huh! Chris Chris and BBqmad, Tried pomegranate before as well after I found the sweeter juices didn't work for me in lamb. I'd say the beetroot worked little bit of cut through on the fattiness, plus it looked pretty speccy doing it and loved how it sort of glowed...
