Re: Pros and cons of converting a weber kettle to gas?
Wayne, Firstly welcome to the forum. Instead of stuffing around trying to gas a kettle for the good wife, Just buy her a little Weber Q120...easy to operate, portable for camping, caravanning & picnics etc; and a great little gas grill. You won't be sorry...and I know the Captain will back me o...

Re: Pros and cons of converting a weber kettle to gas?
Welcome to the Forum Beachbums. You are completely defeating the purpose of the Kettle by converting to gas. You are just restricting it to a roaster. What a waste. The Kettle is all things, A grill a smoker an oven, a pastry/brad oven a slow cooker a Wok Burner a Charcoal grill, a charcoal rotisse...

Pros and cons of converting a weber kettle to gas?
HI all, Great site!
I've done a search but couldn't find much (probably me) on converting my old kettle to gas with one of the gas inserts they make for the webers. Any thoughts or links to previous discussions?
Thanks and Cheers, Wayne

Re: Creating a prep area for your Weber Q ? [220 is mine]
Hi, I found an old desk that has a 25mm square tube frame. A quick trip to bunnings for some castor wheels that just tapped into the bottom of the legs and it was done. It has a drawer on one side that I use to hold my nbarby tools and bits and pieces. Don't have a pic atm but I'm sure you get the i...
