Re: Perth Cape Grim brisket group buy

:)

I have to be SoR in the next week or so, if Wayne is not bobbing around on the briney and the clocks synch I've no problem dropping down to Rocky, I owe him some beers anyway :)

Might be a bit convoluted but can drop them NoR and I'll happily extend my SOR run :)

Unfortunately mate in these times we live in the most likely thing you'll make is a visit from the AFP...

Not really worth the brain sweat just submit them for recycling is the safe bet.

I'm Heathridge, Nath is I think Joondalup, there are a couple of other members up here not sure if they will see the thread.

It would be good to get an idea of the size of the pieces, armed with that I could probably get another one spoken for :)

:) At the risk of starting war with SWMBO who is not a red meat person I'll happily go a piece, much prefer the smallest one :) Nath and I are same general vicinity so we can sort that one out. Very intrigued by this beef and the forum reports. Will depend what other WA members see the thread I gues...

Re: NEWBIE > WEBER Q 2200 (GAS) BLACK - LIMITED EDITION

;) You can't charcoal cook with it :) Seriously, I have a Q 220, the predecessor, great gas bbq, between it and my long serving OTG kettle not much I can't do in bbq terms. BBQG are getting out of selling Weber and have a strong vested interest in selling Ziggys. I've not a thing against the Z&B...

Re: Seal on the kamado bbq

The real bottom line is actually what the felt is made of because "felt" is not a single material at all but a term for a very ancient way of producing a non-woven very dense material from fibres. The old natural fibres, cotton and wool when felted have pretty good heat tolerance but if yo...

Re: Korean Kimchi Mountain Mick's Style

I do love the stuff - anyone ever been game enough to go truly authentic and bury it in earthenware pots?

No, I haven't but had some Korean neighbours years back who did :)

Despite what I said they are a most useful tool but safety is paramount.

Print this out, memorise it, stick it on the wall above the saw and most of all, ADHERE to it :)

:) It became a bit convoluted, to get the download from the old location you had to be a member but because we are shutting that place down by degrees we had stopped allowing new members. Being the good Captain was indisposed we opened it back up for just this reason, but, the Captain has now moved ...

The secret to living to be 105 is being born in a country whose records are non-existent and one day whilst looking like one of Macbeth's witches being lucky enough to cross the path of a video journo desperate for a story :)

I love bacon, really, really do, but excess is just that :)

I really do not know why Weber do the lower spec models, just turnover I suppose.

Don't be tempted the difference is massive.
