weber kettle ambient probe?
Just go to a kitchen store and buy a simple oven thermometer....cost just a few bucks....you'll have to lift lid to check but thats ok if you do it quickly. That's what I do but lifting the lid for so often isn't great when so low and slow. You work with what you have. Hopefully a remote style mave...

Charcoal on stainless steal safe?
Hi all, I have been looking for a stainless steal tray to dump my charcoal on when using the rotisserie attachment for spit roast and churasco on my stainless gasser. The other day it came to me that my BBQ has a fat drip tray that spans all the whole length of the BBQ! Perfect I said. Take it out a...

Scored a Weber
Hey guys, 2 more questions. How long does it normally take for your coals to go out after a cook ? I've noticed that the handle and vents at the bottom are a bit lose and in worried that it might be letting too much air into the kettle. Having never had one, I wouldn't know how tight it should be. T...

New BBQ for free
Looks like one of the Italian BBQs that BBQaroma sells. My background is Italian and I can tell you BBQ is pretty popular in the south where my parents are from. I got my love of cooking over coals from my dad. He always refused to buy a gasser. Friday night was fish n chips for the true blue Aussie...
