Dont know what's happened.. A few years ago ribs went for $10-12/kg. Now double that price seems more normal.

It is a psychological hurdle you need to get over. It applies to brisket, pork and lamb shoulder, ribs and other tough cuts. You dont cook these according to the rare/medium/well done mantra. I use normal flour, plain or wholemeal and mix in about 0.5-1 tbsp gluten flour per cup of flour. This gives better pizzeria like texture. Gluten Flour is available from Kakula Bros in Northbridge.

Removing grease from grill gloves

The welding gloves I use for the BBQ are so covered in food grease and gunk they hardly protect from heat any more.

Does anyone know an easy way to degrease them?
