MMMmmm man them ribs look good........i find we have the opposite problem here in aus cf i can often find meaty beef ribs - but the pork ones here the butchers love to skin them to the bone :cry:

Yes Chris you may be right when i got home yesterday first thing i noticed was made in china which i didn't notice in the shop so i had to have a look there actualy the same size as h 'beads but that doesn't mean there as good or for that matter made to the same safety / health standards. As well as the Hick Snab mentioned from B bq g' lore they usualy sell mesquite chunks too same size / cost / company i find this wood goes well with Lamb & Beef - just start with small amounts it can be quite strong. My biggest problem now familys got sick of Hick but there happy with the Apple pell...

Yeah i hear ya Davo my father in law used to be a rep for a big chocolate mob and they have to pay a fourtune to get top spot on the shelf, but hey when the s' market owns the shelf / shop they can do as they dam well please. Thinking about it now to be fair to h'beads i shouldn't mix them that way ...

Heads up Coles are selling their own brand B' ettes at the moment 2 x 4 kg bags for $9 - i dont know what there like never tried them, i bought 2 just to try i'll probobly mix with h' beads.

I think i've got enough fuel now till easter and with all these fire ban issues it may last longer.

GREAT theres the main problem out of the way - you've got happy customers gotta love that :D So a shoulder takes your fancy right Now i know you said you have a new Q but i'm not sure if you own a Briquette / charcoal burner but when i do a neck / shoulder i use my offset and find a joint approx 3.5...

Hi howser, yes the Aisian crispy style sounds good - i think a lot of it can depend on your background my backgrounds is Irish / U k and they tend to not experiment a lot with food and if i cook Xmas lunch i find i usually got a fair mix of people - grandparents brothers / sisters and their spouses ...

i think with a nice pork roast keep it simple - make a paste of garlic, basil & rosemary rub it all over pork - cover - and into fridge all night. next day bring to room temp and cook nice and slow about 250 - 280f to let that paste do its thang :)

Man that looks good enough to eat....... i can almost smell them roasts one of the best things about bbq doing top roasts while some others think there only for cooking snags, chops & steaks MMmmmm :D

They had just taken delivery so i'm hopeing they are back permantly, i find the trouble with B' ings is each store you go into seems to stock different things in the Q dept.
