Re: Wood fired pizza dough made with “WILD yeast”
Thanks Chris, familiar with the process of making and keeping but not where to buy different established international cultures as starters.

Wood fired pizza dough made with “WILD yeast”
Keen to take my pizza dough to another flavour level from commercial packet to a wild culture or two. Has anybody had a go with similar local products that they could recommend? Found the following mob in the states which looks interesting but was hoping to find something here first. CS http://sourd...

Re: World's best BBQ'ers are Argentinians
I think the definition of the best BBQ'ers depends entirely on who’s eating it and not a specific style from any one country. The bride and I love cooking and eating BBQ in Australia but upped stumps in 2000 and moved to the US for a decade. Our perspective and pallet changed forever, along with our...

Re: Big Green Egg Model Upgrades for 2011
Bill, it will be interesting to see what they come up with for their next gasket solution. There's a recent article on the Naked Wiz site about using Permatex Ultra Copper High Temperature RTV Silicone.

Re: Big Green Egg Model Upgrades for 2011
Hi Bill, thanks for the heads up on these. Arranging to import a couple shortly out of New Zealand which seems the closest for eggs down here. Nice part of the world Kansas. Have eaten at Authur Bryants on Brooklyn Street a couple of times and wish there was a BBQ establishment like that here! Cheer...

Have not used shipstoaustralia.com, but boarderlinx sponsored by DHL has been great over the past 6 months. In particular their tracking which many to the colonies do not offer.

Borderlinx is another although not just for Amazon. They provide both a US and UK virtual address to receive goods for free.

Big Green Egg Model Upgrades for 2011
I’m currently looking for another BGE and was wondered if anybody here could confirm what’s been updated in this years lineup? I Googled a few sites that suggest the gasket, thermometer accuracy, and grill coating to other than Bakelite, but can anybody confirm?
Cheers,
