Re: Cheap Foil Trays

there is 6 to a pack :D They are 21.5 cm X 15.5 cm X 5.5 high I'm sure this is t alle r than the original aluminium tray, but I think the width x length are the same, or very close, as I don't have any original trays left to compare with. They do fit under the baby Q, so I spose they also fit all bb...

Re: Replacement Thermometer Probes?

check out the weber dual probe unit @ $99 rr for a starting point, yes there are cheaper units out there :)
like your or original (single probe) unit, but they sometimes break and you end up spending double the price anyway.

Re: Advice on new purchase

 I can assure you Weber will back their product 100% to the max and no questions are asked as to htf did that happen 8) and yep I know that from my own personal experience too, and admit if it was anyone else they would have probably asked for a written statement in triplicate, certified by...

Re: Brisket fail, where did I go wrong?

Maybe the temp gauge is 'faulty' ???

Just looking at the meat I would suggest it has dried out, caused by temp too hot for too long

Cook for a long time at lower temp and it would be ok I'm sure

Re: Butterflied chicken and lamb - Weber Baby Q / Jumbo Joe

Can't tell you for chicken, but..... for inch + thick Porterhouse it's 4 mins each side on Baby 'Q' for a comparison.

The lid area on the Baby Q is much smaller than other cookers, so heats up quicker with the single burner, and also does a good job of maintaining the heat.

Re: The Ultimate Hot Fattty

wow.......... takes some work but the end result does look really good

I'm thinking it can't be done on a gasser :(

But it looks so good I'm going to do (something like) it, with-out the smoke effect

Re: Probably another what bbq thread?

Yes, I always had 4 x burner BBQ's for decades..... till I tasted a steak done on a weber Q

So I dismantled my 4 x burner and bought a weber Q and mounted it onto the chassis of the 4 x burner unit.

Best decision I've made in decades too :)

If you posted something negative, it would probably be deleted by someone who wants to keep the site 'clean' too :)

ch9 a Current Affair dumps on the Weber

 Watched the channel 9 TV show A Current Affair as it was doing a segment on the 'best BBQ' tonight A budget priced thing from a hardware shop won their choice :) The Weber Baby Q was not looked on at all favorably as it was said to be too small :) There was no mention of the Weber having a ve...

Re: Built in Weber Q or Beefeater signature or other?

 2nd vote for the bigger weber ' Q ' What can't the weber do? - other than the obvious like smoking, but then you use a dedicated smoker for the use. I also would not 'build it in' either, sure make an area for it, but have it so u can move it around on the deck, or area it resides. You can le...
