Re: Acronyms

to not see the adds etc I changed web browsers :)

there are some browsers, FIRFOX etc, that have the ability to hide the adds, or remove them completely from the page, so you get more of what you want to see and there is no space where the add used to be :)

Re: Happy Anzac Day Australia...lest we forget

Davo,

I see all food sitting on the hot plate, but appears to be griddle markings on the snags

Question; do you do snags on the griddle first and then transfer them to the hotplate to cook further :?: :?:

Re: New weber digital temp gauge

Yep, I use the digital temp gauge as shown in the link above.

Great piece of gear too :)

as said only needs to be paired one time and it works a treat
Use the twin probes inserted at the two thickest areas of the meat for best results

Re: Roasting on your Weber Q video - Questions

 Have no specific answer, but can suggest the pork caught fire as had/have photos of the pork on fire with flames coming from it. How it caught fire could be a mystery or could be explained as too hot  Have been told the 'fat holding dish' down below the flames and under the Pork actually...

Re: Roasting on your Weber Q video - Questions

I use the trivet and a 'Q' roasting tray, have done Lamb and beef successfully, however burnt down the weber 'Q' while doing the pork

I use a twin lead thermostat with the probes placed each end of the meat, I have had no problems with their roasting system (except Pork)
