Re: how to obtain high heat for grilling and Pizza

For Low and Slow, light a few bits at the top of the pile,

For High Temp, light in three places around the outer of the pile and leave the vents full open.....watch it though!

Re: WA - Porky's BBQ & Bar

I'm still waiting for the other Porkies to open. It's walking distance from my house but it has been delayed due to issues with the City of Bayswater over parking. They seem to have that sorted now though and should be hopefully opening up soon. Still yet to try the place in Northbridge, will have ...

Re: First time Brisket on Weber Kettle

The heat problem is too much fuel in the fuse. Two on the bottom, one on the top. once the fuel starts to race, you';ll never get it back.

Re: Using a Chimney to start Heat Beads

I've had good luck using one Weber fire starter cube to kick off a chimney full of charcoal. I've also used a cotton ball dipped in Vaseline, which works just as well, but is slightly more messy. I'm not sure what heat beads are, but either of the two methods I mentioned would probably work with th...

Cheers

Re: OTG

How did you go with drilling through the enamel to fit the slide-aside? I want to do this to one of mine (I have a trashed M/T donor with a rusted off leg socket) I have contemplated it, but i'm worried that a small chip out of the enamel may become a large chip all too easily. Last time I did that...

Melaleuca (Tea-Tree) is a good smoke, mild not bitter, good for anything. It's also good for distilling Tea Tree Oil.
