Re: My chicken disaster

Sounds like a dodgy probe. Also, I'd check that the chook wasn't in a part of the fridge where it got accidentally frozen, because the breast should normally overcook before the legs.

Re:

Aarrghh.. I left the vents open and then got distracted during heat up. By the time I got to it the temp dial had maxed out and flames were coming out the top vent. I think it'll be fine Niko. The flames coming out of the top may have just been there and not near the fire (they tend to go where the...

Re: Which Combination Of BBQs?

The question I have is: Are you happy with the Weber Kettles? If not, which aspect would you like to upgrade? (Control, cooking area, comfort, etc.)

I'll give it a clean next weekend and see what ...

Re: Buying second hand

it's just I feel the need to be twisting the knobs on real man sized burners My advice is that you should start questioning the idea that super hot is necessary. Lid down cooking imparts better flavour and the "reverse sear" will deliver you the best steak you've ever cooked, so my suggestion is th...

Re: How to stop smoke entering the house

I'll be filling the gap between the top of the outside wall and the house roof which is not laser lite. Hopefully that will stop smoke coming into the house and should be d...

Re: How to stop smoke entering the house

Foam in fills then maybe a colourbond custom flashing to cover mesh Cheers Golly, but unfortunately colourbond would be out of my league skill wise. Also I've already invested on the aluminium tape which I think might do the trick: http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae291/fabzoops/Roof/IMG_20150712...
